Congratulations River Terrace Inn,Napa's First California Green Business Certified Hotel

River Terrace Inn is Napa’s first California Green Business Certified hotel.

Our journey to becoming Green Business certified has included working with our local recycling provider and city to maximize our waste management and composting programs, including workforce development programming. We have eliminated all individual, single-use bottles of water for employees and visitors and installed water fill stations. We now offer a range of employee commuting options and benefits. Our green purchasing encompasses the following measures: bulk ordering and a preference for a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste (PCW) recycled content while ensuring our top three most used products meet this requirement or are replaced with reusable alternatives. We use water-wise & energy-efficient electronics, appliances & fixtures including the use of energy-efficient LED lighting. We prioritize sourcing locally produced food and beverages, ensuring that our offerings in-room, and at our restaurant, to support local growers and reduce our carbon footprint.
